Brian Lyne

Brian’s training encompasses over forty years of experience with psilocybin and other hallucinogenic substances. He has been involved in the collection, cultivation, and dispensation of Psilocybe Cubensi for many years, he has guided individuals on a one-on-one basis, and groups of up to 12 people in Oregon, Northern California, and Maine.
Regarding his“formal” training, he is very well read. He has read every book by Terrence McKenna, Allan Watts, Paul Stamets, and many other authors in the field of psychedelic medicine. Other than just reading about the subject, he has also written several articles on the different conclusions he has arrived at from his explorations into psychedelics, and a book (The Urchin Diver) which describes his initial breakthrough experience with the compound. He is also currently enrolled in a psilocybin facilitator program through EMBARK, which is on the cutting edge of facilitator training in the US. The foundation for his work is the study of philosophy and comparative religion at College of the Redwoods in Northern California. He also has a background in hospitality; he knows how to make people comfortable. Brian moved to Merida, Mexico from Portland, Oregon this past year, and plans to continue his work and his research into these incredible compounds.
